Public Transportation around Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh has an extensive bus system run by the Port Authority. The bus fare is $2.50. Please see their schedules and maps page for more information about getting around.

Uber and Lyft are also good options for getting around town.

Transportation From the Airport

There are multiple transportation options from the Pittsburgh International Airport to the city.

  • Public Transportation from the airport to the Oakland neighborhood via the 28X Airport Flyer. This bus runs right by the hotel and dormitories.
  • Taxis are available and usually run around $50-$60.
  • Uber and Lyft are both available at the Airport. The cost is usually around $40-$50, depending upon surge pricing.
